Rome invites disillusioned Anglicans back into the fold.
It makes sense of you are an Anglican, I guess. There isn’t too much difference between an Anglican/Episcopalian and a Romanist except for the Mary-worship and bowing down to the pope. The old joke was that an Anglican was just a Catholic who flunked his Latin.
If Rome allows married Anglican priests to become Catholic priests, is that fair to the current crop of bachelor Catholic priests? If a Catholic priest isn’t allowed to marry, how can Rome allow Anglican-turned-Catholic priests who are married to serve up mass? Would there be a lot of resentment among the Catholic priesthood?
