Romans 1:30-32 in the Geneva Bible

September 22, 2009

Does anyone know why the Geneva Bible merges Romans 1:30 and 31 together into one verse and has no verse 32? I’m referencing my copy of the 1599 edition, but my 1557 edition has the correct number of verses and verse divisions. It’s a weird thing, but then again, there are several “weird” things and weird readings in the 1599 edition of the Geneva. Just wonderin’.
